The invention relates to a clutch release bearing device having a first race, a second race, rolling elements contained in a raceway defined between the two races, and a cage device for guiding the rolling elements within the above raceway. The aim of the invention is to demonstrate solutions by which it is possible to create a clutch release bearing device that can be produced at low cost, and that features low sensitivity to moisture and dusts. Said aim is achieved according to the invention by a clutch release bearing device having a first bearing race having a first rolling element bearing surface area, a second bearing race constituting the bearing race rotating about a bearing axis and forming a second rolling element bearing surface area, the second bearing race and the first bearing race overlapping one another in the axial direction, and the second bearing race thereby externally encompassing the first bearing race, and a ring wall drawn radially inward under the radial level of the first rolling element race surface area being formed both on the first bearing race and on the second bearing race, rolling elements contained in a raceway defined between the first bearing race and the second bearing race, a cage device for guiding the rolling elements within the raceway, and a seal device for preventing the entry of impurities to the raceway through a potential penetration area defined between the two ring walls, said clutch release bearing device being characterized in that the seal device comprises a cover ring element descending into a sealing zone, wherein the cover ring element is integrated in the clutch release bearing device such that the cross section of a potential particle penetration path between the two ring walls is reduced, and the second ring wall formed by the second bearing race rotates relative to the cover ring element.
