<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display by which reflected light from the uppermost surface of the display and from a protective cover disposed on the front side thereof is eliminated, as a result, the influence of noise is reduced, and the S/N of the light receiving system is improved, and also to provide an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The display has: a display cell 21; a light receiving cell 22 including a light receiving element 221; a light emitting section 26 operative to radiate light to the side of a display surface with prescribed brightness; a first transparent substrate (TFT substrate) 23 which is disposed opposite to the light emitting section 26 and on which a cell circuit and the light receiving element are formed; a second transparent substrate (counter substrate) 24 disposed opposite to the TFT substrate 23; a liquid crystal layer 25 disposed between the TFT substrate 23 and the counter substrate 24; a second polarizing plate 28 formed on a surface opposed to the light emitting section 26 of the TFT substrate 23; a transparent protective cover 31 disposed on the front surface side of the counter substrate 24; and a phase difference plate 29 formed in the interface between the second polarizing plate 28 and an air layer 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
