SUPPLY POWER CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wasteful consumption of power by forgetfulness of turning-off of a power supply of an electric apparatus by allowing supply or a stop of the power to a selected outlet in a lump if the outlet could previously be selected. SOLUTION: This supply power control system 100 has: the outlet 110; a power control part 132 for performing opening/closing control of the supply of the power to the outlet 110; a mode changeover part 134 for changing over between a power-saving mode to open the power control part 132 to stop the supply of the power to the outlet 110 and a normal mode to close the power control part 132 to supply the power to the outlet 110; and a first switch 136 for making the control of the power control part 132 by the mode changeover part 134 effective when turning on it, and maintaining the supply of the power to the outlet 110 even if the mode changeover part 134 performs the changeover to the power-saving mode when turning off it.
