PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of changing sound volume from a loudspeaker in accordance with the movement of an operator with respect to the loudspeaker. SOLUTION: The electronic device comprises: a loudspeaker which emits sounds; a movement detecting means for detecting the movement of an operator with respect to the loudspeaker; and a sound volume change means for increasing the volume of sounds emitted from the loudspeaker when the movement detecting means detects that the operator gets closer to the loudspeaker, and decreasing the volume of sounds emitted from the loudspeaker when it is detected that the operator gets away from the loudspeaker.
