PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle parking mechanism having a simplified and small configuration for a vehicle lock mechanism as a whole. SOLUTION: Engagement force for engaging a parking lock gear 1 and a parking lock pole 2 with each other is applied by elastic force of a parking lock spring 4 provided in a predetermined fixed part. Thus, rotation to engage the parking lock pole 2 with the parking lock gear 1 can be secured, so as to appropriately lock the parking lock gear 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
