<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas producer which is manufactured at low cost and capable of easily ensuring the airtightness between a housing and a holder. <P>SOLUTION: The gas producer 1A comprises a housing 10, a holder 21, an igniter 30, and a resin-formed part 40. The housing 10 includes a combustion chamber 17 storing a gas generating agent 62 therein. The holder 21 is fitted to the housing 10 while being inserted in an opening end in the axial direction of the housing 10 so as to face the combustion chamber 17. The igniter 30 is fixed to the holder 21 while an ignition unit 31 is located on the combustion chamber 17 side. The resin-formed part 40 is fixed to a surface of the holder 21 and a surface of the igniter 30 to fix the igniter 30 to the holder 21. The resin-formed part 40 is fixed to an outer circumferential surface 23 of the holder 21, and interposed between the housing 10 and the holder 21, and includes a seal part 43 for sealing a space therebetween. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
