<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which prevents a lever from falling down because of a vibration being given before a flexible printed circuit is inserted or during it is inserted into a housing and improves workability of an insertion work of the flexible printed circuit, and can surely insert the flexible printed circuit up to a proper position. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 1 is provided with contacts 4, 5 having contact point portions 4a, 5a which elastically contact with a conductive pattern of a FPC 2 to be inserted into a housing 3, and a lever 6 which can rise and fall between a first regular position where the FPC 2 inserted into the housing 3 is pushed down toward the contact point portions 4a, 5a and a second regular position where it is not pushed down. Pivots 6a, 6a projected out from both ends of the lever are mounted on bearing portions 3c, 3c arranged in the housing 3. Then, when the lever 6 is raised from the first regular position to the second regular position, a locking convex portion 31c provided on the bearing portion 3c and a locking concave portion 61a provided on the pivot 6a are locked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
