An agitator comprising a melting furnace having a storing space for storing non-ferrous molten metal, and a magnetic field generating device for allowing an external magnetic flux to run inside the storing space in a certain direction through the melting furnace for storing the molten metal. At least one pair of electrode terminals are further provided that face each other at a specified distance so as to cross the running direction of the magnetic flux at certain angles and can be connected with a power supply. |
