PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide type sensor capable of measuring quantitatively a measuring object material with a smaller specimen amount to be measured in a shorter time. SOLUTION: This optical waveguide type sensor is equipped with; an optical waveguide wherein the first material to be reacted specifically with the measuring object material is immobilized on the surface; a dispersion layer of a plurality of particles on which the second material to be reacted specifically with the measuring object material is immobilized, the dispersion layer disposed on the surface of the optical waveguide; and a porous film arranged oppositely to the dispersion layer of the particles, and having smaller holes than the diameter of the particle.
