PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sufficient cross-sectional area by mitigating stress concentration at a through-hole 40 for considerable reduction of pumping loss. SOLUTION: The through-hole 40 is formed on a sheet-shaped bulkhead 36 rotatably supporting a crank shaft 14 and partitioning a lower part between adjacent cylinders 12. The through-hole 40 is formed to have an ellipsoidal or nearly ellipsoidal cross-sectional shape whose longitudinal direction is an action direction L0 of the maximum load from the crank shaft 14 side to the bulkhead 36 along with reciprocation of a piston 20.
