PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging device which achieves a reduction in the cost and the size by using a device for elevating and lowering a rod part as a device for displaying an alarm of an overload. SOLUTION: A main body 1 fixed on a ceiling surface or the like has a shape of a thin and long box, incorporates a device or the like for elevating and lowering a hanging tool 6, is equipped with a housing groove 30 which opens downward, and is fixed on the ceiling surface. Suspended strings 4, 5 are hung downward from both end parts of the main body 1, and the hanging tool 6 is mounted on each end part.
