PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust valve having large vacuum break capacity, and capable of quickly performing a vacuum break. SOLUTION: A valve chest 3 opening an inflow port 4 in a lower part and opening an outflow port 5 in an upper part, is formed of a casing composed of a body 1 and a cover 2. A valve seat 6 is formed between the valve chest 3 and the outflow port 5. The body 1 has integrally a plurality of inward projecting ribs 9 on an inner wall of the valve chest 3. A float receiver 10 being a bottomed substantially cylindrical shape and arranging a through-hole 11 communicating the inside and the outside in a bottom part, is arranged inside the ribs 9. A spherical float 12 is arranged in the float receiver 10 in a free state. A valve member 13 separated from and seated on the valve seat 6 by slidingly contacting with an inner peripheral surface of the float receiver 10, is arranged above the float 12. Since outside air hardly flows in the float receiver 10 under the float 12 by the valve member 13 in the vacuum break, the float 12 hardly floats, and the vacuum break capacity is increased, and the vacuum break can be quickly performed.
