<p>It is an object of the present invention to provide a differential apparatus for a vehicle and assembling method thereof obtaining a stable differential restricting torque and achieving high flexibility of setting a higher torque bias ratio TBR.
The differential apparatus for the vehicle comprises pinion gears (3,4) engaging with side gears (5R,5L) where an axis of the pinion gears (3,4) is perpendicular to an axis of said side gears (5R,5L) in a differential case (2), and a pinion gear shaft (50) penetrating through shaft penetrating holes (3D,4D) and supported by the differential case (2), said differential case (2) includes pinion gear supporting portions (10,11) supporting rotatably the pinion gears (3,4) by sliding an outer surface of each of the gear collar portions (3B,4B), engaging portions of the pinion gears (3,4) with the side gears (5R,5L) do not include any supported portion supported by the differential case (2) and are positioned at a near side to the rotational axis of the differential case (2) in comparison that the gear collar portions (3B,4B) are positioned.</p> |
