PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device capable of saving a space for the device and reducing the size thereof by improving permission capability to a partial load applied to a lifting fork, of reducing mounting man-hours in installing the device, and of improving the flexibility of a mounting layout. SOLUTION: This lifting device is provided with: a lifting base 110 equipped with the lifting fork 112 for mounting a heavy load thereon; a post frame 120 guiding and supporting lift and movement of the lifting base 110; a post base 130 provided to the lower part of the post frame 120, and having an upper flange 132 screwed to a connection flange 122, and a lower flange 134 facing the upper flange 132; and a base plate 140 fastened to a base B previously fixed to an installation floor surface A by fixation bolts along with the lower flange 134 of the post base 130; wherein a linear guide 124 is fixed to an inner back surface of the post frame 120, and reinforcing ribs 126 are arranged on both side surfaces of the post frame 120, to thereby solve the above problem.
