A fastener 200 has a head 202 comprising a recess 206 for receiving the driving portion 114 of a driver 110. The driving portion 114 and the recess 206 are shaped such that rotation of the driving portion 114 within the recess 206 engages the driving portion 114 with the head 202, such that further rotation of the driver 110 causes the fastener 200 to rotate. The recess 206 is tapered in the longitudinal axis of the fastener 200, such that the recess is widest at its furthest point from the surface of the head 202. The recess 206 further comprises one or more lateral tapers extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the fastener 200. |
