PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort a business form transmitted from a host computer, and to store it into a specific folder (a destination).

SOLUTION: This business form sorting device has: a reception means receiving the business form file; a header information acquisition means acquiring header information from the business form file received by the reception means; a specification means specifying an attribute record related to an attribute of the business form file from a database with data included in the header information as a key; a sorting header information generation means generating sorting header information from data included in the attribute record specified by the specification means; a registration business form data generation means combining the sorting header information generated by the sorting header information generation means and text data included in the business form file to generate registration business form data; and a sorting processing means performing sorting processing of the registration business form data generated by the registration business form data generation means.
