摘要 A solenoid assisting force generated type single motor electric wedge brake system is provided to support an axial reaction force with a solenoid of relatively low specification by reducing the axial reaction force delivered toward the solenoid. A solenoid assisting force generated type single motor electric wedge brake system comprises an NSL(Non-Self Locking) type push rod axis(31) supporting the axial reaction force delivered from a pad when in operation, and a solenoid(41) which is controlled by an ECU(2) in order to restrict and release the push rod axis. The single motor electric wedge brake system has a wedge structure which is self-reinforced when pressurizing the pad with the drive force generated from a motor(13). The self-reinforced structure includes a wedge moving plate(17) moving an inner pad(7) of a wedge caliper(6) mounted on a wheel disc, and a wedge roller(19) implementing wedging action between the wedge moving plate and a wedge base plate(20) arranged in the opposite side.
