A thermo-hygrostat with air cooling/heating and dehumidifying functions is provided to carry out air cooling and dehumidifying operations by two heat exchangers mounted in an indoor unit. A dehumidifying cycle is branched from the path from a compressor(2) to a condenser(3) of a cooling cycle(4) and joined into the cooling cycle in front of an expansion valve of the cooling cycle via an auxiliary heat exchanger(31). A heating cycle(6) is branched from the cooling cycle to a defrosting heat exchanger(32) and joined into the condenser of the cooling cycle.
