PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a receiver for estimating transmission path with higher accuracy, within the signal receiving process, using pilot symbols discretely arranged in the receiving signal. SOLUTION: The receiver includes a transmission path estimating unit for calculating a transmission path estimating value of the known symbol locations, a first interpolating unit, a second interpolating unit, and a third interpolating unit for interpolating a transmission path estimating value at the position, where the known symbol is not arranged respectively considering frequency band used and edge part of the frequency band as the processing objects, a replacing unit for correcting the transmission path estimating value obtained by executing the interpolation processes within the frequency band used based on the transmission path estimating value obtained by executing the interpolation process at the edge part of the frequency band, and a demodulating unit for demodulating the receiving signal based on the corrected transmission path estimating value.
