A photographing lens unit, a photographing apparatus, and a portable terminal are provided to obtain a low magnification by suppressing degradation of optical characteristics. A lens(L1) includes a first surface having a convex shape to an object and a second surface having a convex top part. A second lens(L2) includes a first surface facing the object and a second surface having a convex top part. The second lens is formed with a meniscus shape. A third lens(L3) includes a first surface having a convex shape to the object around an optical axis and a concave shape to the object and a second surface having a concave top part around the optical axis and a concave top part.
