PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in storing/ejecting a paper tray, and to surely retain the paper tray at a storage position. SOLUTION: This paper tray attachment/detachment mechanism 120 is configured to attach/detach the paper tray 110 relative to an image forming device 10, and it is provided with sensors 144, 146 detecting storage or ejection of the paper tray 110 relative to the image forming device 10, and a driving mechanism 120 driven according to detection of the sensors 144, 146 and storing the paper tray 110 at a storage completion position or ejecting the tray 110 from the storage completion position.
