PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve data transfer efficiency and to save power in a radio communication network accompanied by relay. SOLUTION: Conventionally, each terminal directly performs communications with a terminal connected by a solid line on the figure and another terminal performs relay to a terminal with which the communications can not be directly performed. In this method, a reception side intermittently transmits specified signals, and when the specified signals from a terminal E can be received at a certain time, since a transmission side (terminal A, for instance) can communicate with the terminal E at the time, it transmits data directly to the terminal E without the need of relaying them to the terminal B or C or the like.
