PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running controlling apparatus, for which a propulsive force generating means having an engine with an electric throttle as a drive source is equipped in a ship, capable of enhancing a ship operation property by appropriately setting relation of an operation quantity of an operation means and a throttle opening. SOLUTION: The running controlling apparatus 20 acquires normal data by removing abnormal data from actual data of opening data and engine rotation speed data of the electric throttle 55, and an engine rotation speed-throttle opening characteristic (N-T characteristic) is calculated based on the normal data. Based on a target characteristic (a target R-N characteristic) of a remote control opening output from a throttle operation part 8 and the engine rotation speed and the calculated N-T characteristic, a remote control opening-target throttle opening characteristic (R-T characteristic) for achieving the target R-N characteristic is calculated.
