A heat recovery type combustion device is provided to use inexpensive refractory and minimize heat loss by recovering the heat generated during combustion and maintaining the combustion temperature below 1,400‹C. A heat recovery type combustion device comprises a furnace(10) in which an inner wall(12) is formed with refractory, grates(13,14) injecting the solid fuel are formed in multiple stages on one side, and an exhaust port(15) to discharge the combustion gas is formed on the opposite side; a plurality of injection units(20) injecting the solid fuel remaining in each stage to the next stage; a partition(30) which is made of refractory and divides the furnace into a first combustion chamber(32) and a second combustion chamber(34); a cooling water pipe(50) arranged close to the inner wall of the furnace; and a plurality of air injection ports(60) spraying the compressed air.
