PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inversion transfer mechanism of a blow molding machine in which a mechanism for reversing a preform/blow molded container, a mechanism for inserting the mandrel of a carrier into the preform, and a mechanism for extracting the mandrel of the carrier from the blow molded container are composed on a single turntable. SOLUTION: The reversal transfer mechanism 16 of the blow molding machine has a cylindrical member 65 which extends radially on the surface of the turntable 63 and is supported rotatably by the turntable, a slide shaft 66 which extends, penetrates the hollow part of the cylindrical member 65, and rotates integrally with the cylindrical member 65, a gripper 68 which is fitted to the outer end of the slide shaft 66, can hold the spout of the preform or a blow-molded article, and moves along a second circular transportation route when the turntable rotates, and cam mechanisms for rotation (81, 82, and 83) which rotate the cylindrical member at an angle of 180°with the rotation of the turntable.
