Electric motor driven compressor - hermetically sealed with recesses for easy assembly crank guide drive

Hermetically sealed motor compressor with electric motor and drive shaft has an attached crank on one end driving a piston in its cylinder bush. The bush is mounted on a boss on a bearing bracket. This boss has in the axial direction of the drive shaft a U-shaped recess equal to the outside diameter of the cylinder bush to enable easier fitting of the bush without the need to position the crank pin at bottom dead centre. A sound absorber and opening for electric cables for the motor is included. The boss is supported in a collar type arrangement attached to the bearing housing.
