<p>The casing (1) can be mounted anywhere using its magnetic feet (2). A transformer (3) and an indicating lamp (10) are fitted in the casing. One side of the output from the transformer is connected to a permanent magnet (18) which is placed on the metal workpiece. The other side is connected via the indicating lamp to a clip (14). The clip is attached to a bearing (25) on a contact (21) which is mounted, suitably insulated, on the tool carrier. When the contact touches the workpiece the electrical circuit is completed and the lamp thus gives an accurate indication of the position of the cutting tool.</p> |
