PURPOSE:To constitute an apparatus simply, to decrease labor requiring for maintenance and to reduce malfunction and a failure rate by providing a contact element, a contact thereof is opened and closed with the temperature rise and drop of the rotor, and transmitting the temperature rise and drop over a stator from the rotor by an optical signal. CONSTITUTION:The rotor 1 is positioned at an allowable maximum temperature or less under a normalcy, and voltage for light-emitting a light-emitting devide 15 is induced on the rotor 1 side by a rotary rectifier 8 for transmitting a power supply, but the light-emitting element 15 does not emit light because the contact element 14 is opened. When the temperature of the rotor 1 is brought to the state in which it exceeds an allowable value, the contact element 14 is closed before the rotary electric machine burns out. Consequently, light emitted from the light-emitting device 15 is received by a light receptor 16, and a light thyristor switch 17 is brought to a conductive state. Accordingly, a relay 18 is excited, and an alarm device 19 is operated while the rotary electric machine is stopped. |
