PURPOSE:To save the power needed for driving a wiper by providing a car speed discriminating means and controlling speed of the wiper in accordance with the output from said car speed discriminating means. CONSTITUTION:A car speed discriminating means 11 consists of a car speed detector 8 and a comparator 9. The output from the detector 8 is compared with the specified voltage by the comparator 9 and the result, that is, whether the output is higher or lower than the voltage is generated from said means 11. If a wiper speed setting means 2 is kept in a low speed mode 2b and a car speed exceeds a wiper speed changing point, the comparator 9 generates an H level, which is sent to NAND B1. A voltage of an H level is sent to another input terminal of the NAND B1 from the contact of a low-speed mode 2b, on account of which the NAND B1 generates an output of an H level. This output drives a low-speed actuating relay B to close the contact 7b of a wiper driving circuit 10, hence driving the wiper at a low speed. |
