PURPOSE:To prevent wasteful imprinting by imprinting marks on only one side when a double-side copying mode and a mark imprinting mode are selected. CONSTITUTION:When a selecting means 68 selects the double-side copying mode, a means forming a copying image of an original on a copying sheet is operated to form said image on both sides of one copying sheet. At that time, when a means 67 selecting the peripheral mark imprinting mode is operated, a control means 81 controls the imprinting means 81 so that it can be operated only when an image is formed on either of both sides. Thereby, peripheral marks can be imprinted on one specific side of a copying sheet as well as images of the original formed on both sides. Thus, peripheral marks can be formed on only one side of a transfer sheet having images on its both sides, thereby preventing wasteful imprinting. |
