<p>PURPOSE:To provide a cuff band easily wound around a wrist, having stability and capable of well measuring blood pressure even when the thickness of the wrist is different and there is an individual difference in the shape of the wrist by setting the diameter of a flexible almost cylindrical clip plate cut off at a part in the peripheral direction thereof to 40-60mm. CONSTITUTION:Since the min. lateral width of a wrist C is about 50mm, the diameter D of a flexible clip plate 1 is set to 40-60mm. A cuff band (b) is constituted so that the cross-sectional shape thereof is formed into an almost cylindrical shape (almost C-shape) cut off at a part in the peripheral direction thereof and necessarily expanded in use. Since the flexible clip plate 1 having rigidity of a certain degree is laterally expanded, the wrist C is pressed when said clip plate 1 is applied to the wrist C but there are the radius and the ulna in the lateral direction of the wrist C, the flexible clip plate 1 presses said bones. The artery is present in the wrist C in the longitudinal direction thereof and is not excessively pressed by the flexible clip plate 1 and there is no effect in the measurement of a blood pressure value. Since the flexible clip plate 1 is brought to the close contact state with the wrist while pressures the bones, the cuff band (b) can be stably mounted.</p> |
