PURPOSE:To serve fragrant tea without bitterness by continuously pouring hot water onto tea leaves in a server from above through a hot water outlet tube by the pressure rise in the server. CONSTITUTION:When a heater 2 is energized and water in a server 7 is heated and the pressure in the server 7 rises, at first air is discharged through a fine hole 30 made in a siphon tube 12, a second opening-closing valve 26 section, and a filter 25 into a funnel 11. When water in the server 7 boils, the pressure in the server rises rapidly. As a result, the second opening-closing valve 26 is closed, boiled water goes up rapidly through the siphon tube 12 and further through a hot water outlet tube 18. Hot water which has gone up through the outlet tube 18 with its own pressure opens, while resisting an urging force of a pressure spring 24, a first opening-closing valve 23 located at the hot water outlet 22 so that hot water is continuously sent forth. Hot water sent forth drips on tea leaves in the funnel 11 to wet the tea leaves. |
