The circuit includes a Wheatstone bridge (1) contg. the meter's measurement wire (6) and temp. dependent resistance (22) and supplied with a regulated voltage. The temp. dependent resistance is simultaneously part of a further circuit in which a current flows which is independent of the bridge supply voltage. A current source (23) is connected in parallel with the resistance. The resistance is connected in an arm (5) of the bridge adjacent to the earthed supply voltage tapping (13). ADVANTAGE - Unwanted effects of variations in bridge supply voltage on temp. compensation are substantially eliminated.
