PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which makes it possible to correct by a warning when there is a mistake in operation or even if an acquiring condition of images changes on the way while setting of a color target and creation of an image input device profile can be simply and rightly performed by anyone. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a color target presence/absence detection unit 36 which detects whether the color target 21 is present or absent in image data sent from the image processing device 1, an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) reading unit 22 which reads information of an IC chip 19 embedded in the color target 21 detected by the color target presence/absence detection unit 36, and an RFID update check unit 29 which judges whether information of the color target 21 read by the RFID reading unit 22 is the same to the information of the color target 21 which is already acquired or not.
