The invention relates to a duvet and duvet cover combination where the duvet is arranged to be placed inside the duvet cover, where the duvet (4), respectively the duvet cover, comprises an in one piece with the duvet (4), respectively the duvet cover, integrated essentially rectangular extension part (2) where a first long side (10) of the extension part (2) is attached to the duvet (4), respectively the duvet cover, and where a second long side (12) is divided up in two parts (12a, 12b) that are separated by an aperture (18) which extends essentially centered and over at least half the distance between the second long side (12) and the first long side (10), and where further the duvet (4) comprises straps or strings arranged in corners of the extension part (2) of the duvet (4) and where the duvet cover comprises through holes (20) arranged in corners of the extension part of the duvet cover, and where said straps or strings in the extension part (2) of the duvet (4) are arranged to be passed through said holes (20) on the upper side and the under side of the extension part of the duvet cover whereafter they are arranged to be tied together to keep the extension part (2) of the duvet (4) safely in place inside the extension part of the duvet cover, whereby the shoulders and arms of a user may be kept warm by said extension parts.
