<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter detector for passenger door in a rolling stock, capable of detecting if small foreign matter which cannot be detected by even a door close sensor is caught in the door. <P>SOLUTION: A door monitor camera 1 is fitted at the upper position of an outer meeting part of the passenger door 11 in the rolling stock 10. The door monitor camera 1 acquires an image before door open and an image after getting on/off of the passenger and comparatively processes both of them, thus detection of foreign matter near the door and display of either of the above images can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
