EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR VEHICULAR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control system for a vehicular internal combustion engine capable of shortening time required for manual regeneration process of a filter executed by operation input of a driver.

SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control system for the vehicular internal combustion engine controls automatic regeneration process automatically executing regeneration process of a PM filter under a predetermined condition during vehicle travel and manual regeneration process executing regeneration process of the PM filter during vehicle stop by operation input of a driver responding to a warning. Target temperature Tt (broken line Y) of the PM filter set during manual regeneration process is set in high temperature side of target temperature Tt (solid line X) of the PM filter set during automatic regeneration process.
