<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistance and an image processing method capable of obtaining and outputting clear image data even if a captured image of an information code is distorted. <P>SOLUTION: When capturing the image of the information code such as a bar code and a QR (Quick Response) code, a control section of this personal digital assistance detects the alignment of the information code and a bar width or a data cell size, or an information unit, from bright and dark patterns of the image, normalizes the bar width or the data cell size based on the sizes and normalizes the bar code or QR code image based on the normalized information unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
