<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication terminal, capable of connecting to a plurality of wireless communications systems by optimizing the system switchover period. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless communication terminal includes a plurality of wireless communication means for carrying out wireless communication with respective wireless communications systems; a system monitoring means for carrying out at least reception of notice messages from respective wireless communications systems by switching over the wireless communication means with predetermined periods; and a control means that, when system monitoring is conducted on one of the wireless communications systems by the system monitoring means, and if the connection to the system-monitored wireless communication system is inhibited, prolongs the system monitoring period for the wireless communication system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
