<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a cable connection capable of securely connecting a flat cable, while an actuator is not separated from a housing although it has a simple structure by supporting the abutting part of the actuator by a flat part formed in an connector mounting auxiliary fitting, and the actuator can be easily molded. <P>SOLUTION: This connector has the housing for inserting the flat cable, the actuator which can change its posture between a first position and a second position, and which is equipped with a pushing part to press the flat cable at the second position and a body part getting almost parallel with the inserting direction of the flat cable at the second position, and the connector mounting auxiliary fitting.
