PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car seat which is improved in appearance by preventing a swell on the upholstery section which is formed with single stitch after connecting seam allowances on a curved surface of the seat or meandering of the single stitch line. SOLUTION: In the upholstery, the surfaces 13, 14 of two upholstery pieces 11, 12 overlaps with each short seam allowances 17, 18 lined up together and a lining tape 19 overlies a rear face 15 of one of the two front upholstery pieces 11, 12 with a side tape edge 20 in alignment with the edges of both the seam allowances 17, 18. Then, the lining tape 19 which is sewed with both the seam allowances 17, 18 is folded rolling up the seam allowances 17, 18 which are made perpendicularly intersect the rear face 15 of the upholstery piece 11. Furthermore, the other piece 12 of the upholstery pieces 11, 12 is folded while overlapping each other and overlying the lining tape 19 and sewed up with the lining tape 19 with single stitch 22.
