The launcher (1) for a sub-projectile (5) is made from one or more separable elements, and has at least one seal (16) in contact with the outer surface of the sub-projectile and the inner surface of the launcher. Each element has a number of perforations for fixing the seal, which covers the inner surface, the outer surface and the joint between elements for a distance of up to 1 mm. The seal is molded from a supple material selected from natural or artificial rubbers.
