PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator for a microchip constituted so as to prevent an artificial mistake, capable of reproducing the advance degree of chemical reaction and having no problem from an aspect of sanitation and safety because contact with blood is avoided at the time of handling of blood. SOLUTION: This centrifugal separator for the microchip is constituted so as to hold the microchip 7 having a separation part, a weighing part and a mixing part to a predetermined angle of rotation and equipped with a first rotor 3 rotated by a motor 1 and one or a plurality of second rotors 4 provided freely rotatably around the rotary shaft 5 of the first rotor. The centrifugal separator has a first mode wherein the first and second rotors and the microchip 7 are integrally rotated when the motor 1 is rotated in a state that the microchip 7 is held to the predetermined angle of rotation to perform centrifugal separation and a second mode wherein the second rotor 4 is rotated in a state that the rotation of the motor 1 is stopped to hold the microchip 7 to another predetermined rotation of angle.
