<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable electricity storing apparatus for judging a fault in a switching circuit part. <P>SOLUTION: The switching circuit part of supply power to a load 15 is formed of a first switch 17 and a second switch 23. When voltage Va is not more than a first prescribed value if the first switch 17 is turned on and the second switch 23 is turned off, it is determined that the first switch 17 suffers from an open circuit failure. When voltage Va is not less than a second prescribed value if the first switch 17 and the second switch 23 are turned off, it is determined that the first switch 17 or the second switch 23 suffers from a short-circuit fault. When voltage Va is not more than a third prescribed value if the first switch 17 is turned off and the second switch 23 is turned on while a charging circuit 19 charges an electricity storing part 21, or after it completes charging, it is determined that the second switch 23 suffers from the open circuit fault. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
