<p>A handover method includes the following steps: a mobile station judging whether initiating a handover to a second base station according to the search and measure results from each transceiver; if the handover requires being initiated, initiating a new call to the second base station through a second transceiver of the mobile station, and the new call taking address information of the opposite end; building a second service link between the mobile station and the second base station through the second transceiver of the mobile station. And a method of a handover method, mobile station and switch device judging whether a handover requires being initiated by using a MS and performing handover process by use of the MS initiating a new call, which avoids the troubles of developing inter-operation interface and protocol for supporting trans-network handover among kinds of wireless networks; by use of the handover method provided in the implement in the present invention, the operation is simple and universal well, and the handover could be applied within kinds of wireless network systems and among different network systems.</p> |
