An apparatus and method of processing data of a non-volatile memory is provided to perform a write-operation by using a transaction block and converts to a data block at once after finishing the write operation, so a logging task can be omitted. In an apparatus and method of processing data of a non-volatile memory, a task processing unit(130) writes data in a plurality of blocks on the nonvolatile memory when a write operation is requested from a user and it makes the block written by the data effective. A block management unit(140) manages the state of the block while corresponding to a task process. The block includes a map block, a transaction block, the data block, and a garbage block.
