FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: position detector of an object, moving relative a base, consists of a source of magnetic field, installed at a given point on the base, and a magnetic field converter on the object on the side of the base. The source of magnetic field can be a permanent magnet or direct current electromagnet with magnetisation intensity perpendicular to the direction of motion of the object, and the magnetic field converter is in form of wrapper object of a circular electrical loop, the plane of which is perpendicular to the direction of motion of the object. The detector can have an extra differentiating unit, the input of which is connected to the output of the circular electrical loop. The magnetic field converter can be in form of a device for measuring magnetic field, and the source of magnetic field can be in form of a ring shaped permanent magnet, encircling the object trajectory and which can be made with radial magnetisation intensity and solid or in form of separate segments, located on a circumference. The plane of the ring shaped magnet is perpendicular to the direction of motion of the object. ^ EFFECT: wider functional capabilities of the detector and increased accuracy of determining the position of a moving object. ^ 5 cl, 6 dwg |
