PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can reduce eccentric wear in the tire circumferential direction even if blocks are different in tire circumferential length. SOLUTION: Regarding a transverse groove 1b between adjacent tire circumferential blocks 1c, a height of a groove wall 1d of the block 1c which is shorter in tire circumferential length is formed so as to be lower than a height of the groove wall 1d of the block 1c which is longer in tire circumferential length. The rigidity of the block 1c which is shorter in tire circumferential length is greater than that case in which the height of the groove wall 1d of the block 1c which is shorter in tire circumferential length is formed so as to be equal to that of the groove wall 1d of the block 1c which is longer in tire circumferential length. Thus, even if the blocks 1c are different in tire circumferential length, the rigidity of the blocks 1c can be made almost uniform circumferentially over the tire so that the reduction of eccentric wear can be achieved.
