BELT GUIDE ANCHOR AND SEAT BELT APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME

Belt guide anchor (5) comprises metal plate (5a) as a core metal and, mounted on a given place thereof, resin cover (5b). The metal plate (5a) has large opening (5e) and, integrally fitted to an inferior end border thereof, belt slide part (5c) provided at its superior face with belt slide surface (5c<SUB>1</SUB>) of circular arc in cross section. The belt slide part (5c) has right and left protrudent circular-arc-shaped flanges (5c<SUB>2</SUB>). The backside (5c<SUB>3</SUB>) of each of the flanges (5c<SUB>2</SUB>) is shaped into an upward convex cross-section circular arc and is positioned superior to the extreme distal end (5c<SUB>5</SUB>) of thebelt slide surface (5c<SUB>1</SUB>) of each of the flanges (5c<SUB>2</SUB>). Accordingly, there are realized large area of the belt slide part (5c) in contact with the seat belt and large curvature radius of the belt slide part (5c).
