<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of preventing overheating of an MEA by a simple operation during power generation. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell has an electromotive part equipped with a membrane electrode assembly in which an electrolyte membrane is arranged between a cathode and an anode, a fuel supplying source to house a liquid fuel, a fuel supplying means to supply a fuel to the electromotive part from the fuel supplying source, a fuel diffusion supplying mechanism which is installed neighboring the electromotive part and has a plurality of fuel supplying ports in order to diffuse and supply the fuel to the membrane electrode assembly of the electromotive part, and a fuel throttle mechanism which is installed between the fuel diffusion supplying mechanism and the electromotive part, has a plurality of opening ports installed corresponding to the fuel supplying ports, and is operable from outside so that the opening ports are relatively moved to the fuel supplying ports in order to control a supply amount of the fuel to be supplied to the electromotive part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
